Kimberly Phillips, LMSW

Kim is an LMSW whose treatment style is guided by the principle of the client's right to self-determination, meaning she helps her clients to gain clarity and become the best versions of themselves according to their own belief system and values. Kim has experience working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and past childhood trauma and abuse. She utilizes mindfulness, solution focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, and acceptance and commitment therapy, as well as other treatment modalities. Kim received her undergraduate degree in Social Work from Texas Woman's University and her graduate degree in Social Work with a focus in Mental Health Counseling and Substance Abuse from the University of Texas at Arlington. Kim is a proud "cat mom" with two adopted cats and frequently fosters stray cats and kittens. She also enjoys interior decorating and home remodeling projects with her husband.
