Carrie Babcock is a psychometrician with years of experience working as a licensed specialist in school psychology. During her time as a school psychologist with Lewisville ISD and Frisco ISD, she was involved in performing psychoeducational evaluations to identify and recommend special education eligibility for children and adolescents with various needs. Her role also involved working as a part of a multidisciplinary team for evaluating and communicating with systems such as the child's family and school staff. She is working with PEACE Psychology Center as a psychometrician by helping to administer tests as a part of collaborative psychological evaluations with licensed psychologists. She also serves as an educational consultant and advocate. She is passionate about creating a collaborative working relationship to help parents communicate with the school, to understand their child's 504 plan or IEP, and to advocate for relevant services or accommodations. She takes a collaborative and non-confrontational approach to helping parents understand their child's educational services, empowering parents to participate in their child's IEP or 504 meetings, and in communicating with the school.
