Carrie Babcock, SSP, LSSP
Licensed Specialist in School Psychology
Carrie Babcock has years of experience working as a licensed specialist in school psychology. During her time as a school psychologist, she was involved in performing evaluations to identify and recommend special education eligibility for children and adolescents with various needs. Her role also involved working as a part of a multidisciplinary team and communicating with systems such as the child's family and school staff. She is now working as an advocate and is passionate about creating a collaborative working relationship to help parents communicate with the school, to understand their child's 504 plan or IEP, and to advocate for relevant services or accommodations. She takes a collaborative and non-confrontational approach to helping parents understand their child's educational services, empowering parents to participate in their child's IEP or 504 meetings, and in communicating with the school.
