Aleta Creech, MS, SLP, CCC

Speech Language Pathologist

My daily mantra by Ralph Waldo Emerson drives me, “Speech is power: speech is to persuade, to convert, to compel.” In working as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), I embrace my daily privilege: to empower others to reach their full speech and language potential, to inspire, motivate, and connect with children; my requite: the ability to help children discover their power that can be uncovered through both verbal and non-verbal communication.

With almost fifteen years of experience, I am an ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) with a degree in Communication Disorders where I studied at the Callier Center. I have a background in early childhood intervention with my first pediatric SLP position in this area, and have closely collaborated with PPCD and ECSE classroom teachers at both Lewisville and Dallas ISDs. I enjoy working with elementary aged students and have many years of experience with this population across both public and private school settings. I strive to collaborate with communication partners to affect change and meet client goals through the tandem of our young clients’ neuroplasticity and our provided play-based intervention.

Prior to entering the field of speech-language pathology I worked as a Faculty Recruiting Coordinator at Harvard Business School. I am passionate about sharing my unique background to learn from and to help others, and to equip them with the tools that they need to be successful.

Outside of work, my husband and I love spending time with our four children and attending their many sporting events.
